New Project Announcement

Undertaking and implementing exciting new projects with like-minded organizations that help to ensure the success of our foundation's goal - to support the development of future generations of leaders by encouraging the utilization of technology to implement innovative development solutions – is an endeavor IPKO Foundation continuously strives to achieve.

Therefore, this month, IPKO Foundation - in partnership with Women in Tech Kosovo and supported by the Embassy of the Netherlands - excitedly announced our new project, “Reshaping the Future: Kosovo Women on the Front Line of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity”.

Through this project, the girls and women of Kosovo will receive expert-based training on the important topics of Artificial Intelligence and cyber security - the goal being to provide them with the tools necessary to identify and combat cyber threats in gender-based cybersecurity and AI while also improving their digital skills overall.
We look forward to providing future updates on this exciting new endeavor!

Celebrating Successes

In addition to our exciting new projects, we were pleased to be informed that the Technologies Club of "Vellezerit Frasheri" School in Lipjan this year successfully made it into the grand final of the ”Genius Olympiad” competition, an international high school project competition that attempts to tackle environmental issues that affect us all.

The youths of this project and their creative ideas came forward through UPSHIFT, the social impact workshop put on by IPKO Foundation with the support of the UNICEF Kosovo Programme. We could not be prouder to see such success come from the youth that have attended our programs, and we are happy to not only support their participation in this impressive international competition, but also to continue contributing to the improvement of the quality of education of this school through our programs.

Looking Forward

DOKU.TECH at Dokufest 2023

This year's jubilee edition of DOKU.TECH was a big success, thanks in large part to our donors, the speakers that so generously lent us their time, our staff, and our lovely volunteers.
We are excited for the opportunity to recreate that success at this year's 22nd edition of Dokufest, which takes place between August 4th and August 12th in Prizren, Kosovo. The DOKU.TECH program in Dokufest will be showcased on August 5, 2023.

Updates about this event as it gets closer will be posted on our social media and our website. We hope to see you there!
