Our commitment to Investing in Youth and Education Continues

More young people in Kosovo will benefit from an investment in their education through a partnership between IPKO Foundation and the Sali and Isa Nushi Foundation’s scholarship fund.  IPKO Foundation is continuing to invest in youth by supporting their access to education helping them to discover new things and increase their knowledge for a brighter future of our society. IPKO Foundation is investing in two Nushi Foundation scholarships for the 2013/14 school year.  The 1800 Euro investment will support two students with a demonstrated financial need.

Salih and Isa Nushi Foundation is a nonprofit organization established in 2009 with the aim to support the development of education, culture and science in Kosovo. Each year, foundation gives five scholarships to merit students who face financial difficulties. This year’s application period closed 4 October 2013.  Initiatives, taken by ordinary citizens who have benefited from economic and education opportunities, such as the IPKO Foundation and Nushi Foundation demonstrate the power of philanthropy to make a difference in people’s lives.

Abetare Gojani, Program Manager at IPKO Foundation, speaking for the importance of this cooperation said: “We really hope and believe that this support will serve for the best of our mission. We are looking forward for future cooperation.”  Nora Sahatqiu, Board Member of Sali and Isa Nushi Foundation, said: “This very helpful investment of IPKO Foundation will help us to support the education of students who are applying for scholarship grants at Sali and Isa Nushi Foundation. We consider this as a great motivation for us to continue with our mission to help Kosovo’s students on their studies.”
