By integrating business, technology, education, and industries in one place, BarCamps inspire connections and a distinctive way of thinking outside the box through various speakers whom we invite. These informal events provide the means of making connections, sharing ideas, and incorporating innovation and networking. Having become an essential part of the tech and innovation landscape, BarCamps have managed to gather hundreds of participants in one place where they can all prosper.IPKO Foundation has introduced this project back in 2011, and has since expanded the project’s reach by introducing it to new communities in different cities of Kosovo. Therefore, BarCamps are now present in Prishtina, Mitrovica, Gjilan, Ferizaj, Prizren, Gjakova, Peja and Drenas. Goal: The main purpose of BarCamps is to turn members of the community into active citizens, who take matters into their own hands for the greater good of the society. This goal is fulfilled by organizing editions of BarCamp with different themes, in which individuals with different backgrounds can share stories that inspire participants to innovate and introduce new ideas that may change their lives. These ideas are also a by-product of several BarCamp discussions that emerge during monthly editions.
