From a worrier to a warrior..

Nowadays, as we struggle with the lack of financial help and support, students in our society tend to be more stressed and more disoriented than usual. Instead of paying the fullest attention to our studies, we keep thinking of finding the suitable way to finance our studies or even buy the literature we need.

Even though a great number of us are part of the State University and do need to worry about our tuition fees, our chances are really low when thinking of studying abroad. Right after I  spent a semester in a foreign university, I am fully aware of its benefits and challenges . I grew both personally and professionally and as a result, I look forward to continue my postgraduate studies abroad as I am eager to expand my knowledge and widen my horizon. Applying for an Ipko Foundation Scholarship was one way of helping it happen. Now, it is much easier for me to focus on my studies without having to worry about finding the path to make it happen.

While we are desperate and helpless, it is of a great importance to know that there are individuals or organizations out there that sympathize with you and try make things easier for you as much as they can. I am forever grateful to Ipko Foundation Staff for being there when we needed someone to believe in us and encourage us to fight for our dreams and not give up.

Lastly, as applying for an Ipko Foundation Scholarship was one of the best decisions I have ever made, I encourage students to stop being a worrier, but instead be a warrior and run after their opportunities. One way of making it happen is to apply for a Ipko Foundation Scholarship. It helped me, it helped many other students and I am sure it will work out for you too. In the meantime, keep in mind that just when the caterpillar thought her life was over, she began to fly.
