Oslo Innovation Week

Oslo Innovation Week is Europe’s largest innovation convention and the week-long series of events on identifying international leading trends and development in innovation and entrepreneurship, making it a significant meeting place to discuss opportunities and practices for growth and innovation every year.

In 2016 I was very lucky to be part of this international and very powerful network conference via the support of IPKO Foundation Sponsorship Program.
It was very inspiring and motivating to closely see the world’s latest trends in community building, solving social challenges and most importantly to see how they are creating bridges between large, established companies and their startup scene.

We have been working together with IPKO Foundation in different tech related activities with the community of Girls Coding Kosova. Participating in OIW was very helpful and inspiring for us to closely see how big and very well established countries like Norway manage to organize such events.

These events were organized by over 90 different organizers, such as corporates, startups, accelerators and organizations and we also got the chance to have an overview of what’s stirring in the startup scene in Norway and Internationally and to attend a number of world-class events across Oslo.

Being part of this conference was a friendly reminder for us as a country to continue working even harder and make the difference that we are aiming to get in the industry of Technology. I think we are in the right path, it is only that we have to work really hard in order to get there.

IPKO Foundation to me is like a family and their continues support on my career path is truly appreciated and I am very grateful for giving me the opportunity via the Sponsorship Program to participate in such an outstanding technology conference.
