My experience at IF – a piece of sunshine in the freezing winter of 2016

I am Blerina Miftari, a science & book lover, a polyglot, inspired by creative minds & courageous spirits. I’m currently a senior undergraduate student at the University of Warsaw. I’ve worked as a social media volunteer for NGO’s such as ISF and We Speak Science, which shows that content writing is my cup of tea. The aim of these two organizations is to empower, educate and collaborate with people and projects to positively impact the planet and its creatures.

Here comes the most interesting part. Have you ever imagined for a job filled with creativity, motivation, positivity and an awe-inspiring team all in one package? Well, it exists for real and there are only two words about it IPKO Foundation. During my internship at IF I had the opportunity to perform challenging tasks yet very thrilling ones as a Social Media and Communication Intern, for which I did my best to finish successfully in a timely and efficient manner.

Being part of IF family means being part of diverse projects, activities, conferences, and social events such as BarCamp,Wiki Academy Kosovo and DOKU:TECH, which are characterized with encouraging ideas, networking, wide discussions and powerful accomplishments. Genuinely, IF makes you feel in competition with yourself every day and makes you highlight the best out of yourself. Most importantly, it shows you how it feels like to be part of a team, who’s working to make this world a better place and at the end what’s more awesome and inspiring than that?

My internship at IPKO Foundation was an unforgettable journey. Thus, if you want to earn an enthralling experience, learn a lot, connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, work with a hard-working staff and spend an astonishing and memorable winter, then I cordially recommend you to apply and grab your golden chance because trust me you won’t regret it!
